Apple’s Vision Pro, and other similarly functional VR/ER Headsets, offer a new and exciting interface that goes beyond the 2D computer screen.
At present the user requires the use of a screen and interface tools such as a mouse, mousepad, or pencil. Larger physical screens increase ease of use. However, VR/ER headsets offer screens of essentially unlimited size without impinging on physical space or having extensive desk/workspace requirements.
Optimising Shapr3D to operate in Apple’s Vision Pro would not require major changes to the current interface, but would require fine-tuning to optimise the user experience.
Operating with Apple’s Vision Pro would further free the user to work in a wider range of circumstances, even further reducing the requirement to be “in the office” in order to work effectively.
