'Model a bracket' tutorial makes a user feel like an idiot

I’ve searched extensively, used AI, etc. This tutorial is kind of a joke, so I realize i’ll need to use 3rd parties to learn the software. The person in this tutorial is dong things behind the scenes, but expecting the new user to just ‘know’ things.

I’m at the end, where i’m re-sizing the base. and i get an error that the ‘constraint would conflict with existing ones’. I’ve shown all the constraints, and then just started deleting them. This i KNOW will cause issues later, but i cannot find what is causing this at all.

Earlier in the video he says to turn off all the sketches, but then for this step, you have to go turn the sketch back on, which he apparently just assumes you’ll do in the microsecond of transition to this topic.

I desperately want to know more about the constraints…something i’ve struggled with in Fusion360 too. And this tutorial makes me want to burn down my house.

Any help is appreciated here. thank you so much.

Some of the tutorials are a bit dated and Shapr changes. Youtube is notorious for not putting dates on stuff so you never know how old the info is. Date authored should be mandatory.
