If this had truly been £17/month, I would have signed up straight away.
As I said in another thread, there is a massive demographic who would pay for a hobbyist subscription, at around £15/month
More people will sign up to the lower price subscription. This sector which is huge, is an absolute gold mine.
It won’t replace users, who are already on the studio/pro subscription, because these people are generally professionals, who need more features, resources & seats.
The two subscription sectors won’t overlap at all. It just means more money for Shapr 3D that they will never be able to unlock, unless they introduce a hobbyist style subscription?
Listen, guys, it is at least a step in the right direction, but this needs some more thought. Perhaps you could keep the Solo subscription, but add one more level below it

You might be thinking that’s even better. Actually the difference between the two pricing points, is even greater, which makes the solo monthly subscription even harder to stomach.
Thanks for the feedback. The $17/month price is for yearly subscriptions. Yearly subscriptions are roughly 50% cheaper on a yearly basis than monthlies.
(On your screenshot I think you show the price for the monthly sub for Solo)
So, I just renewed a week ago and NOW you offer this? I am really starting to hate any software that cripples features. I HAD to buy PRO for two years to get more than two projects. Shapr will NOT get my money next year. I will be transitioning away this year. This is the last straw for me.
BTW - Apparently not available in the USA? Nothing on the Shapr website pricing indicates that the SOLO option even exists.

I logged ot of the Shapr3D site and now the Solo shows up. Essentially Shapr RAISED the prices on the subscriptions since PRO is now gone and SOLO is $200 a year. No thanks, I’ll keep my PRO version until it expires. Shapr3D isn’t gonna survive anyway. (I’m assuming that “clous storage” is public for Solo, just like Onshape, another CAD software that is gouging makers.
We makers want to be OFFLINE and have a STABLE workflow that doesn’t change every week because of the whims of some “inflencer” that has no clue about efficient workflow built on COMMON SENSE rather than AI and cumbersome steps. I think back over the past year and am sad about how much Shapr has deteriorated.
Man, I wanna start by saying that I fully understand your frustration and I share much of it, but you’re expressing it like a whiny toddler, and I truly hope you get a refund and find something else, as your tantrums across multiple posts are getting old.
But it says £12.50/month per annum. Not £17/month per annum, which makes the monthly version, even more difficult to stomach. The difference in price is vast
