The problem that this feature will solve:
Exporting a design with different objects (parts) for import In blender3d results in all the parts being joined as one.
This makes it impossible to add materials to the different parts of the design.
FreeCad does export the objects separately and blender3d can import them as an object tree. Unfortunately the quality of the mesh conversion from solid object to mesh in FreeCad is full of errors.
Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:
I ca export my design as an object for blender3d, where all the parts of the object are separate objects (adhering to my folder structure in Shapr3d) which I can modify separately in blelder3d (add materials etc)
What can’t you achieve without this feature?
I have modelled a bicycle in shape3d that is customisable (colours, components and cabels)
Photorealistic marketing material needs to be produced in all the different variations (50 different photo scenarios).
I can’t do it using shapr3D.
