Hi, I’m relatively new to this forum but need some advice please.
I’m currently working a project that has two objects that mate together but I only want to select ONE of those objects and export it so that it can be 3D printed separately as they need to be printed in different colours.
Is this possible & how is this done please?
No need really. Most slicer programs allows you to split groups of bodies.
That said, it depends on your export type. You can hide bodies in folder view and export only visible bodies… there are other ways.
Try exporting your project and splitting your bodies in your slicer and deleting the parts you don’t want to print.
Thanks for your reply, as it turns out I discovered I could hide through shapr3D what I didn’t want exported and what was left (the object I wanted) was easily exported!
