Currently I have to put all objects in a folder and hide the folder to export an object on its own. Is there plans for exporting only the selected object?

Just hide them, then export.
This becomes tedious if you have a large number of objects. If you turn your logic on it’s head, it might be easier to go along with the previous suggestion
