Scale of grid not the same as it was. Something is wrong

Today, I launched Shapr3d on my iPad. I am using inch (imperial) and each line normally represents an inch, and each block is usually 12 inches.

Also, if I create a line in a sketch, the line will not snap to the grid. What is happening to this software? Is anybody else having these issues? Did these changes go into effect purposely? I can’t find mention of these changes in the changelog for the last several updates.

Something is really wrong. Please see my attached photo.

Thank you very much. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

Okay, after looking more, it seems that the grid format has all of a sudden changed to ten blocks per 12 inches, versus the 12 blocks per 12 inches that has always been. Was this an intentional change, or is my app defective?

With respect,
Trey

Lines are snapping to my grid just fine, however you are correct in the last update for some reason a 1 inch grid has lines every 10 inches instead of every 12. This should be a known issue since it’s been brought up before in the forums.

Also, if your grid is set to 1", the lines will snap to 1". However, since the grid is messed up and shows 10 squares per foot, points will not snap to the grid. But they are snapping to 1".

You are correct, the lines are snapping to the white space outside the lines

Change it to Decimal from Fractional you will get 10x10 grid and snaps at 1/10th spacing.

Lol another subtle way to tell Imperial user to go decimal, brutal! Or some dev guy got a 1/10 spaced ruler as a reference.

The problem seems to be that the display is showing a Decimal grid, and the snap points are on an Imperial grid.
If you zoom your display to be on 1 inch grid, you will see that there are 10 minor divisions to one major.
However, there are 12 snap positions!
This is a recent addition bug!
From what it is doing I think it is a fairly straight forward issue, It may simply be that the part of the software that draws the grid is not being notified when the metric to imperial change happens.

I mentioned about the bug the day of and it has be already been 6 days.

So 7 days ago some dev changed what didn’t need to be changed.
