I’m building the simple rack and want to be able to project this face with the tab cut outs onto a new plane. But when I project it, the tabs are not in there, it’s just the original sketch. I did this once before and I can’t remember how. How do I project the face to include the tabs?

Looks like you don’t really have cutouts there. So you can’t project them. Make subtract first.
Yes I don’t have cutouts. I built the shelves before the side to make the placement of the slots much easier. Can you explain “subtracting” please?
