Snapping Behavior Is Widly Confusing

Using MacOS 5.520
Trying to snap sketches to the grid but they are all behaving different than eachother. For instance in my example the 10mm square snaps to the edge but the 63mm square snaps to the middle of the grid point.

Then I discovered if the square is odd, it snaps to the middle, even though I first created it on the edge. If I change the size to 62x62 it starts snapping to the edge.

Is this expected behavior? How do I adjust this?

You should rather use constraints to position your sketches.
