That is amazing and was everything modeled on Shapr3d. also how did you manage to get the dimensions for all the parts to reverse engineer them, great work.
Thanks
Thank you for the kind words!
The goal from start was to do _everything_ in S3D, to learn and eventually overcome some limitations. This holds true except the decal on the air filter and the number plate. Here Affinity kept me sane and Vector Q kept the old plates intact. Usually I work in a plethora of CAD, shifting environment as soon as there is a uphill or to where the strengths is to be found; Fusion, FormZ, FreeCAD, Plasticity, Strata Design, Blender, Onshape. All this, but S3D is fastest and fun! (Though not always the most precise.)
The measurement is by thousands of photo with reference, lasers (combined), caliper, yardstick, strings. Countless hours in a sometimes very oily and nice environment. I wanted to create a true miniature where any small error would not in the end add up exponential and give countless misfits.
It all started with a missing radio — no S3D (later I did find an original.)
And then a water pump schematic and a missing antenna mount (later I also here did find an original), all in S3D, so why not do the all of her?
Started this Sisyphus work 2024 and I expected it to finish 2030, that still seem to be possible… The engine and et al is to be finalized, working my way inwards, with _all_ internal mech parts somewhat later.
(I also do some prints with working parts of rubber, carbon fiber, and metall to the 1:1)

Great work, I think that the Hudson was one of the most beautiful cars on the road back then. Keep up the good work.
Thank you
Outstanding work! Looks amazing.
