Unable to spline on the correct axis

I’m trying to do a loft between my curved sketches and i cannot figure out how to do a spline against the curved portion and it keeps going on the wrong axis. I indicated in pink the curve I want to achieve in the final pic, orange is a just a straight line for reference.

you need to create a cros-section sketch plane and draw your curve on it, matching the purple intersection points.

you need to draw a construction line for the intermediate points, so that you can snap your spline with the coincidence tool
