Does anyone know what format I need to export from SHAPR3d if I want the design to be printable. When I export in .3mf or stl they both show up as EMPTY FILES when dragged into bambu studio.

Have you try STEP format ?
step format
Is your Shapr3D up to date? Either 3mf or stl should work.
