Why is it so hard to use shapr3d on an ipad?

I have watched a couple of tutorials on youtube. Why is it so hard to use this program on an ipad with the pencil? I thought it would be easier that way.

for example, all the tutorials talk about a shift click to select multiple items. but there is no shift key on an ipad. So i try and drag a box around a circle and an arc to choose them both, but then theres no option for tangent, any coincident.

I can’t seem to draw an arc between 2 circle diameters. I can only make an arc elsewhere, then click the endpoints like a million times until I get the crosshairs to move it. Then, I can’t move the other endpoint, I can never get the crosshairs again. If i try to adjust the arc radius by clicking the arc, and it doesn’t adjust the radius, it just moves the endpoints around, and moves my cirlcles, even if i thought i had them locked.

I can’t draw a simple line between 2 cirlce centerpoints? I can only draw a line some where else, and then click a million times to get the crosshairs back, and then move the endpoints of the line.

I try to follow the tutorials, but the UI is so vastly different, stuff doesnt appear in the same place. like the snapping rules. had to look for 10 minutes to find them.

I need help, and the youtube videos are so outdated they arent helping.

When they say Shift Click I think that means is when with your pencil tap and hold you get 2 different selection by going left and right. Pencil tap & Hold should be the only difference iPad vs Desktop as far as I can tell.

Also constraints only show up during sketch mode.

Yes, tap hold and drag will make a box that includes both an arc and a circle. But the only options that lights up is coincident, not tangent. On the videos, they select both things, and tangent lights up. Mine stays dark.

Shift Click your talking on iPad is to continuously select objects and sketches.

For desktop users we have to actually use the Shift and Click to select multiple objects.
