You took the words right out of my mouth, I am giving Shapr3d until December when my subscription runs out to come up with so major important updates to both the modeling and drawing modes otherwise I think I am going to be done with Shapr3d. I wish they would quit giving us this little updates and give us something that really matters to the users, hopefully they are listening.
I agree, we didn’t really need any of these small updates, but the software needs some big ones. I steongly suspect they are just trying to keep the paying customers at bay because the big update (whatever that is) takes much longer than expected. This, along with the basically ignored Feature Request category got very annoying, and I really hope it changes for both the company and users.
I wish we could get some acknowledgement back from the leaders at Shapr3d to insure the users that their are major updates to both the modeling and drawing modes coming soon and what we can expect instead of the dead silence we have been getting.
Ha. I haven’t read the Enterprise page before… There is literally most of the stuff the community is asking for.. Custom tools and macros, custom importers and material libraries for instance. Feeling duped..
I don’t think the Enterprise version would satisfy what the community is asking for. I think they are still trying to define what Enterprise means and to work with certain higher paying clients to mold the feature set. The Enterprise “price” is not public which usually means it varies between clients depending on what the client offers. For all we know, it’s actually free or no more than pro for the time being.
The language around Enterprise is very inconsistent : VisionOS version works for pro (not sure about standard) w/o the AR sharing, no evidence of material libraries, macro/custom tools require the development team to implement (not a way to build them yourself), importer list is still limited and does not include the formats we consistently see requested on this forum, the security mentioned is built into the cloud offering and so applies to everyone I think.
Nevertheless, I’m hoping for the best! I need assemblies!
