Area select tool in the macOS version - feedback needed

Hello everyone - with last week’s macOS release we have introduced area select.

We would love to know what you think about it so far!

In the first version of the tool you can:

  • create include/crossing selections
  • have the ability to filter your geometry (face, body, edge, etc.) during the selection

There are a lot of features/improvements ahead of us (in-tool area select, iPadOS version to name a couple), but we are interested in your opinion about this current iteration.

Does it make your modeling easier/faster? Are there things you are missing?

I got you once it comes to the iPad. I plan on trading in last years model for that M1 chip specifically because of you guys and this app. I’m hoping you guys take advantage of these devices getting OP.
