Can’t rotate my project “ Operation failed because the resulting body wouldn't be valid”

Hello I am Shapr3D user who has been using the app for almost 2 years but I have never been reached By this problem.

While trying to rotate my project (a robot assembled in solidworks and exported like SLPDRT or part) a message appears saying “ Operation failed because the resulting body wouldn’t be valid”. I tried many ways in order to make the rotation work, but it just wouldn’t do it.

By the way, I need to say that every time I import a project, piece or anything, the app just rotates it, so I need to select the body and make the adjustment (which was annoying till this point).

I am competing in a couple days and me and my team really need to got this solve, besides Shapr3D is a great visualization app, it’s just excellent with the AR mode, that is something no other app offers you.

Currently I use Shapr3D in the iPad Pro M1, 8GB RAM 256GB ROM, IOS 17.3

I would be grateful if you could provide any help. Thanks

PD: I have been able to rotate projects with more than 25k elements and this is a +5k element

Hey @SergioX, at the bottom of your capture the selection info shows 3064 faces & 1795 bodies are selected.
If you select only faces of a body then the rotate tool transforms the selected faces and keeps the unselected ones untouched, like it happens on my video. If the geometry is too complex the transform cannot be solved and the “Operation failed…” error message appears.
Make sure to select only bodies for rotate. If you do it by area selection, during the dragging selection options appear. Switch to bodies to select only bodies.
Or you can select the bodies from the items panel as well.
