Can't align sketches on Mac

I am trying to align circle sketches to one side of a rectangle sketch. What I am actually trying to achieve is to offset the circles by exactly 100mm from the edge of the rectangle. As a first step, I was trying to align either the center of the circle or the edge of the circle with the edge of the rectangle, but as you can see in this screen recording below, I am unable to achieve it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

The way to easily reach it is to select the midpoint of the circle, and the edge of the rectangle, then set the distance. Repeat it for both edges:
