I just installed Shapr3D on my new Mac Mini M4 and it seems that the keyboard and trackpad interaction has been switched:
previously I could touch the trackpad with two fingers and move my fingers (no keypress required) to drag; to rotate the model I had to press the shift key
now I have to hold down the shift key, touch the track pad with two fingers then move them to drag; to rotate the model I touch with two fingers and move them.
Is this something I can configure? Did you change the default for some reason?
Shapr3D Devs: I have to ask - have you ever heard of the principle of least surprise? Changing a core default like that without some kind of extremely up-front explanation verges on rude.
I also don’t understand why the new recommended navigation patterns are considered an improvement. Compatibility with competing apps from which you’re hoping to draw users? Some kind of industry consensus?
