We were able to make a customer very happy by producing a quick custom part to meet their departure schedule of 12 hoursapricity switch.pdf (1.3 MB)
Measure - 30 mins.
S3D design - 30 mins.
Print part - 3 hrs.

Love the software.

I know it’s been brought up several times, but are there any plans for dimensions and notes?

We do a lot of rapid prototyping for fabricators, and attached is the way we are sending dimensions to the guys in the field.

I would like this capability also. But I don’t work for Shapr — am only a user. So the powers to be have to chime in on this…

Hello Sean,

you can project a bodies edges to a plane, then - using the lock - you can lock in those dimensions. Here is a pic of the result (which you can export in DXF)
