Feature Request: "Tap-Drag-Release" Polyline Gesture Support for Apple Pencil

The problem that this feature will solve:

Currently, drawing continuous lines with the Apple Pencil requires keeping the pencil tip on the glass or constantly re-selecting the previous vertex after lifting the pencil.

I would like to request a dedicated Polyline tool or interaction mode tailored for iPad users that functions via a “tap-drag-release” workflow:

  1. Tap a point on the grid with the Apple Pencil to establish the initial start point.
  2. Tap and drag away to see a live preview of the line segment, then release the pencil to lock in the 2nd vertex.
  3. Immediately tap and drag from that new vertex to set a 3rd and 4th point without breaking the active tool chain.
  4. Tap a “Done” button or double-tap the canvas to exit.

What can’t you achieve without this feature?

currently Drawing polylines are awkward and not natural. Much faster and intuitive to tap pencil to set first point (snapping) then tap-drag to set 2nd point, release tap-drag 3rd point, etc click done or double tap or escape to ens sequence. Should be able to group segments together for moving ( groups of sketch entities in a sketch)

This would drastically improve precision sketching on the iPad, preventing accidental shape inferences when lifting the pencil.
