Hi guys, I have two questions.
In a future update, can the extrude command create a new body by default? This would help speed up workflows, and especially help calculation time when working with complex/organic models.
My other question is, will we receive an update that includes non-uniform scaling, aka scaling separately in x,y,z axis’s?
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We plan to implement 3d snapping and this will make default extruding just as you mentioned possible. There is no ETA for when this will be released yet.
I will also pass on your feedback as regards non-uniform scaling to our product team.

Thank you for the reply, I also noticed that creating a duplicate object setting the distance to “zero” no longer creates a duplicate object in the same region. This was handy for workflows that use a lot of intersections. It’s not a big deal, but it is a lot slower having to manually move a duplicated object back to the same position.
