I’ve been working on a keychain model, you may have seen my previous post about non-manifold geometry. That problem is fixed.
However I realised I accidentally made the keychain 4mm x 6mm x 4mm instead of 40mm x 60mm x 4mm
I tried to use the scale tool, but that only gave me uniform scaling. Is there any way to non-uniform scale with complex objects?
cheers

There is no non-uniform scaling (yet).
However, you could scale up 1000% so make your keychain 40mm x 60mm x 4mm then use the extrude tool to correct the 40mm to 4mm.
Hi Jaxon,
It’s coming very soon, we expect to release it with the upcoming release next week. Until that the mentioned workaround can help you.

Wow! Looking forward to this
Hey all,
Non-uniform scaling has arrived with version 5.180. Make sure your app is updated to at least that version. Also let us know how do you like it.

Just updated to 5.180 and tried it and I have just 1 word to describe it…
Freakin’ awesome!
Okay, okay, that was 2 words but I was overcome with sheer joy from this latest update

Non-proportional scaling is a long-awaited function! This is a great update! Thanks to the Shapr3D team.

I just tried non-uniform scaling. It’s intuitive and works great!
