How to add your own Materials?

Hello,

Ive been using shapr for a couple years now

But the material bank is somewhat lacking, to my liking

Is there a way we could add our own pictured of/or materials?

You can use your own pictures aligned to some flat parts of your model but there is no custom materials support for today.

Third party app is your only real recourse. Blender comes to mind.

Here is a Blender process I recommend.

Export out as GLB!

GLB will export out Shapr3d applied materials.

In Blender just replace Shapr3d materials with your own, so you don’t have to worry about UV Unwrap, Seems, etc..
