In the last couple of days ive noticed that i cannot import anything on Shapr3d anymore. Both ‘Import as New Project’ and ‘Import to Current Project’ are both greyed out and cant be clicked.
Any ideas?
Im using a Windows 10 pc, and have a full subscription.
I have been experiencing this same issue for about a week now; I thought maybe my project got too large and Shapr was still ‘loading’ even though the project was open and that it wouldn’t let me import more elements until it was done. But then I noticed even when I started a new, blank project, it would not let me import immediately either. I reached out to support but honestly, everytime I contact them, it’s the same cookie-cutter response asking for the tech specs on my machine, the version of Shapr I’m using, a video of the problem, and a copy of the project.
Anyway, back to the import issue-- I noticed if I click on 'New Drawing" under the same drop down menu as the Import options, then cancel it, it sort of ‘wakes up’ the Import options and I can now click on them as normal.
As off today I am also seeing that the “Import as New Project” and “Import to Current Project” is now geyed out… wtf?.. $350 and I can’t do this.
I sadly note that this orig post was raised 3 days ago and there’s been no response from Shapr3D…! Really, I think I’m moving into that camp of being done with this paid subscription.
Me too, not the first issue after updating. This is one of the most basic tasks a CAD software needs to be able to perform in order to call itself a CAD software. I wouldn’t mind if we had the ability to roll back the update in order to be able to use it but they tell me that is not possible. If I’m paying a subscription to use the product in return I expect to be provided a product that works.
I just noticed your tip about the new drawing and that worked for me too, thank you. If only Shapr3D could have told me that when I complained about the issue I’d be back to work instead of sitting here doing nothing and waiting for a fix.
