Manipulate technical drawings

Hello out there,
is it possible to manipulate technical drawings? Most of the time the drawing is way bigger than the sheet of paper. Common way is to scale it AND to cut off the unnecessary parts. This way you end up with a smaller drawing but you can still read text and dimensions AND you still have the „uncut“ measurements.
Possible with Shapr3d?

You can add new bodies to a existing drawing but if you add new parts like screws or pins to a existing assembly that is already on the drawing it will not update the drawing with the added parts which is a huge issue because that means you would have to redo the drawing just to get the new parts added to a existing assembly on a drawing, This is big problem and needs to be fixed soon.

@danno11: you are right and I do not understand why its not fixed yet.
My question was about cutting of parts like in the picture.
How can I do this? If it is not possible than how would you do a technical drawing that works for manufacturing?
I’m excited to see how others manage the issue.

meisten ist es nicht möglich im dem Werkplanmodus zu Zeichen, aber bemassen ist möglich.

Du kannst verschiedene Maßstäbe wählen. 1:10 1:20 usw.
bei de Papier gössen hast du eine Auswahl bis zu A 0, brachst für dies ein Plotter.

und ein Mosaikduck ist nicht möglich! :grinning_face:

Den Bemessungstiel den du auf dem Bild sieht ist ein deutscher Bemessungstiel für Tischler nach DIN.

leider ist es nicht möglich momentan verschiedne Arten von schraffieren auszuwählen gemäss ISO ,Norm DIN, Nach SIA norm oder Spezielle Tischler Normen zu implementieren.
