As a Sketch-up user I would have to disagree with the statement that Shapr3d on MacOS does not bring anything new or better to the table. Its intuitive chamfer and scallop capabilities alone are worth a ton and one of the reasons I started using the app. I am disappointed they ditched Catalina support so I’m still using the old beta but Big Sur will get stable fairly soon I imagine and I’ll upgrade then. I also love the sketch vs solid concept and once I wrapped my head around it, it makes a ton of sense and allows for a lot of flexibility and experimentation in a drawing that in Sketch-up you would have to recreate from scratch. Plus of course the seamless desktop to iPad support!
Unfortunately we had to due to technical limitations. I’ve been using Big Sur since it was released both on Intel and M1, and I haven’t had any issues so far. Actually it’s one of the most stable macOS releases I’ve ever seen, and I am a mac user for almost 15 years.
