When I delete a sketch cause I don’t need it anymore, it deletes the body its associated with too. How can I delete sketches without deleting the model? Thanks for your time

Been looking forever to try and find the solution. Thank you for replying! I will try it when i get home.
All that function does is hide the sketch instead of delete it. I don’t want the sketch to be in my items at all. Id like it to be gone completely. I used to be able to delete skeches without it deleting the body.
I’m with you. Haven’t done a deep dive on it yet as my designs have been simple. Should be a button to simply and effectively disassociate a body from a sketch.

Make sure you set Delete shown in step 2.
I think the reason they did it the way they did was because allowing individual disassociations would be overly complex. With the history collapse approach, they essentially export the design as an X_T file and then reimport it.
Yeah I did. Not a fan but I’ll get used to it. I liked it before where I could delete sketches I didn’t need anymore but it’s all good.thanks for your help
