It’s past time for a portable folder that shows up in every project where I can store commonly used nuts, bolts, doodads and thingies. Even store a collection of parts to be used any project. A persistent folder at the top of the items bar.
Limit it to 10 or 20 items I don’t care.
Open a project, drag a copy of the thingy into that “Parts Bin”, close the project. Start a new project and drag the part out of the “Parts Bin” into the project space!
What a slice of heaven that would be!
