Removing extras AFTER intersection

Hey y’all,

I’ve been using the app for about 2 days now. If got intersecting parts that are at 45 degree angles. I want them to come to a point at 90 degrees but I can’t seem to figure out how to subtract the extras after they intersect. Is this possible?

I’ve included a photo for visual aid. I want to keep the stuff in blue and remove the stuff in red.
