Please make the renaming behavior consistent between panels.
In the Items panel, a click-pause-click will activate text entry mode.
In the History panel, you must right-click and choose Rename.

Remove inconsistent behavior between similar actions in different panels.

Yes, a slow double click (click-slight move-click) for rename mode is much easier for me, and consistent behavior is just good UI.
