can someone tell me what this error is describing because the sketch is fine and the extrude was created correctly. It looked like it happened after the latest update.

It means that the sketch referenced some geometry (via projection or snapping) that disappeared due to changes in the history tree. Such missing references should be highlighted in yellow on the canvas when you activate that sketch, and if you upgrade to the latest version that just got released today, they should be a nice way to “retarget” these missing references by clicking on those yellow visualizations.
If you don’t see such visualizations or you haven’t made any changes that could’ve broken them, could you please share your design with us either here in a DM or via an email to beta@shapr3d.com? Sometimes it happens due to a bug and it would help us debug this.
