Maybe limitation the s3D the vertical part connection with simple circlepart..

Maybe. But in loft variant its invisible

I think , because there is the tangent constraint.

At least for me what I’m looking out is the top down.

Not sure I understand what you want to say

Circle part tangent with the vertical line, should be ok from a geometric point of view

How is that related to my message that it’s invisible in loft variant?

Becuse the zebra is only vertical or horisontal..

Here is two zebra setting from the top

Try again😎

Actually I wasn’t focused on the Zebra, it was on by default when I screenshot. I was talking about the curvature, yours go straight out while alex and mine curves which is reason difference between mine with the sweep and ALEX version looks good without blemishes it is something I want to figure out, render issue or something to do with continuation of sweeps vs lofts.

I don’t understand you.

I misunderstood…

Your Rhino imported curve is a mesh or a sketch ?
Because all my exports generate mesh curve. Test with MoI3D and OnShape. Too Bad.

I tried Moi3d while back, it seemed more like Rhino so you might really like it.

You might already know Onshape, Solidworks, Shapr3d all use Parasolid Kernel. So all the feature in those programs Shapr3d can have it as well, as long as Shapr implements it, so when ever there is a chance I like to point out the Missing Feature! It’s funny if you go to Siemens website Shapr3d is one of their promotional case study.

I found IGES is the only format from Rhino that exports as Curves. When you import in Shapr it looks like sketch but can’t edit it, only scale it and comes in as 3d Model but not as Mesh. You can apply sweeps and loft guides on it.

I figured out the issue on my version.

I simplified the approach for the all sweep.

Hi,
Sweep is used in this screenshot. We can see the selected line but i can’t extract it.
Thanks

I don’t see sweep usage on your screenshots. I see only revolve and then you select the edge of the body.

Also still unclear what do yo mean by “extract”.

Oups you are right !
extract: copy the selected edge and use it as sketch spline
The sweep could be used in this case.
Thanks Alex

Interesting approach. I managed to get good results with it, but for me, it’s more difficult than using a loft.
