Why when I make a sketch the make an edge construction line, then revolve, it comes out right but when i delete the sketch to remove it from site does the entire drawing get deleted. I’m new help please.

A Revolve operation is linked to the sketch used to create it. If you delete that sketch, the Revolve will break or disappear because it loses its reference.
If you do not want to see the sketch, it is better to hide it rather than delete it.
You can also merge the design history to keep only the final geometry, but you may lose the ability to edit the original sketch and Revolve settings later.
