What’s the easiest/best way to create a torus shape with a specific inner diameter?
Hi @DrBenedictPorkins Welcome to the Forum.
This is one way to do it.
Sketch a Circle, the Diameter of which, minus the Diameter of the Torus Section/Profile, will equal the Internal Diameter of the Torus.
Use Add > Construction Plane > choose option Perpendicular to Curve at Point
On the Construction Plane Sketch the Profile of the Torus Ring:
Use Tools > Sweep to form the Torus.
In this case 80mm Diameter - 10mm Diameter = 70mm Diameter
