Welcome Screen and App Update

Hi,
i’m using the app on a PC (version 5.420.5479.0) and have the same issue with the welcome screen (“Make your design flow”) other users had. It allways pops up when launching the app. As said in the forum, i have tried to update the app via the shapr website with the “Download for Windows” option. After downloading and running the installer i get the following error message:

Short translation of the german text: The app is already installed with the same name.

What can i do? Thank you for your support.

Hi,

It seems like you have the app installed from Microsoft store. First you need to uninstall that version to be able to use the website one. Please make sure all your projects are synced before you uninstall it, as it will remove these.

Alternatively, a log out / log in could solve the problem even without changing installers.

logout and login did the job. Thank you for your quick help. (I installed the app from your installer not from the Microsoft store).
