When can we start exporting a 3D file to a vector pdf

A growing number of us have been using shapr3D for about two years now at the Financial Times.

It has changed the way we look at producing 3D work online. However we work at a vector level so we use illustrator as the end appliance for output. It would be a great help if we was able to export the file as a vector pdf.

Regrettable the svg. button has invalid sketches and it fail’s when exporting.

The workaround we export the file as a obj and use couple programs so we can export the file into illustrator. Time-consuming when we have a tight deadline.

Hello,
1• create your model
2• create a Drawing
3• Export it in PDF

I’m unfortunately unable to help you with this issue, but I found it interesting that an institution like the Financial Times is using Shapr3D. I’m curious as to what kind of stuff you use it for.

Many thank’s Jean-Philippe, that is a great help
