How i can create new sketch items?
i already saw one forum use saying to create a new sketch plane offset by any amount.
that doesn’t work for me. I would like it to be on the same plane.
shapr3d is amazing at many things and very strange at others i wish i understood the logic.
Thank you for your reply. while this may work, it is cumbersome I’m sure we agree. i like to work quick.
To the Shapr3d team. can we expect changes regarding this behavior ? or is it not on the map ?
You can simply hide the sketch and create a new sketch on the same plane. No need for workarounds.
Hiding the sketch to create one on the same plane is a workaround too… but certainly a faster one than what I described (post now deleted to avoid confusion). That will definitely save me time but how in the world would we know to do that?
That is a faster workaround, but still a workaround. Sometimes i need to see my previous sketch.
Then unhide the other sketch while editing the new sketch
