Ok this app has potential, but you have to correct simple a few things first.
- selection phylosophy:
1-a. : when something selected in a sketch, even if other sketch open, selected sketch opens immediately. who and why need this. this is not prefereble. a bit confusing. there is no need this. this should be at double click.
1-b : we want to select multiple items at the same time by clicking by one by. this is imposibble now. how can we constraint, without select 2 items. constraint tool nature needs 2 element. are you understand the situation. ok this is not acceptible. your selection phylosophy is not good. i dont have a word to describe this situation, this is not true. with this selection phylosophy if there is, we can add a single constrint to a line. how can we add a constriant a line middle to another line middle. ridicoulos. icant select middle of the line vertex, i cant even select second line. even if i select with shift two of them, midpoint constriant inactive. this is simple thing. select 2 point togather, select constriaint, finish. but no. there is no way to do simple thing. ok app is good but simple thing is not good. i watched a video belong to 4 year agos, ncad can select multiple area, by clicking on it by one by. interesting thing is we cant do it now. this simple thing is very annoying and effecting the user experience.
- sketch management:
2-a : if i want to add new sketch, and if there is a sketch already added is visible, automaticaly open last sketch at the same plane, not new sketch if there is a sketch at the same plane. so i cant add new sketch if there is sketch at the same coordinate plane. if i can click plane selection square differrent from sketch created already, added a new sketch to another plane. but there is not plane selection option at starting new sketch. this is ridiculus. i cant even add a new sketch to the same plane. this is obviously not good. i want to add multiple sketch at the same plane. this is simple thing. i cant believe this. this can be from selection phylosophy error. ok selection phylosophy is very strange, habits of normal users is not suitable for this. selection should be reset, when i click on “new sketch” button. if want to open or edit a sketch i can click on item/sketch. there is no relation between selection and adding new sketch. that should seperate.
2-b: manageing constraints between sketches, constraint to sketch from another sketches, maybe from different coordinate plane. there is no way to add reference a point to add constraint, to the sketch from another sketch. dont say projection tool. it is very confusing. and projection tool has different purpose. projection tool has direction from sketch to part surface. we need a tool has direction from part(or sketch) to sketch. constriant is very simple. i need to add 10 reference point from the same sketch(or part surface vertex) to different multiple sketches to see or to place different alternative. actually projection tool can be used for this but it is very confusing, hard to use . i need “use” tool like the onshape has.
2-c: there is no hyerarchi of the items. if i need to change items/sketch attribute, i have find it at the history. this can be difficult to manage. history is not suitable for this. for example sketch plane, this is sketch attribute, it should be under item/sketch itself. at least, i can reach basic parameter of items itself from items/body(extrude height) or a link to history/extrude(parameters).
3.click management: normal pc user, need to see a pop-up menu, or something like that, when we click on a new sketch or similar tool. we can change plane, or other options on the fly, not at the history.
