Here is a ryobi radio I modeled in shaper3d let me know what you think. I really like the rendering updates to the software.
Thank you.

It would be nice to be able to add images to the render (for showing off the mobile screen, pictures on the wall, stickers, info etc etc)

And what export options would one have?
USDZ quite high on that list.

Here’s what www.Sketchfab.com supports fur upload.
Wich of these will be supported for export from Shapr3d with materials?

Playing around using felt for sand, anodized metal for water, mahogany board, and oak board.

Very cool!

Do you want feedback on the concept, or are you just sharing your neat renders and fun design?

It is on our long term timeline, but we have some other bigger things in front of us.

Which format would you prefer and why?
I understand the USDZ use case, but would appreciate some info on how you would use this feature in Sketchfab

Can you share some info/example what would sort of shadows and lights you would like to have

Daniel,
Great examples of the lighting and shadow quality can be seen at https://www.keyshot.com/
Their approach to lighting is that any piece of geometry can be turned it into a local light source as a material.

They use these four Light source material types:

  • Area light diffuse
  • Point light diffuse
  • Spotlight
  • Point light IES profile

I don’t expect that same level of rendering quality from Shapr3D from the start, but it would be awesome.

Thank you Daniel.I look forward to customizing the light source, setting different directions, changing its distance, controlling the intensity of lighting, and setting the light source to different colors to make the shadow look more natural and soft. Render closer to the real effect.

After zooming in and enlarging the model, the perspective will deform and twist. Please improve it. Thank you very much!

Not sure if this helps, but you can adjust the perspective/orthographic view when modeling.
Default is 50%

Thank you, Mike! Yes, when I set the orthogonal view to 0, this is exactly the perspective I want. :grinning:
